Hello Rivermont parents!
I’m thrilled to return to Rivermont for school photos. Rivermont students are a delight to photograph! Here are some details, and as always, don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.

Picture Day FAQ:

What should my child wear? 
Individual photos will be taken from the waist and and shoulders up. No need to worry about shoes!
Try to avoid shirts with text or pictures on them. Your photos will turn out more timeless and classic, and the focus will be on your child’s face, instead of their clothing.
Please avoid neon green and orange, if possible, as they reflect unnatural color casts back on to the skin.
Note - Class photos will be taken outside.

What else should I do to prepare? 
If your child wears glasses, please clean them in the morning so we can see their bright, sparkling eyes.
This sounds obvious, but please wipe your kiddos’ faces before dropping them off at school. Breakfast crumbs, eye boogers, etc. We will do our best to clean faces before the photos, too, but it definitely helps if you can take few swipes at it, too. :)

For little ones who might be shy about photos, prep them ahead of time by telling them a VERY SILLY LADY will be visiting Rivermont and she is going to try to make you laugh. This gets some of the PreK kids curious and excited. :)

Is there a re-take day?
Yes! Re-takes will be held on Thursday, October 30th, for students who need a redo or who missed the first round. Sign up for re-takes here.
Please note that if you choose to have your child's photo re-taken, you will not have access to the first round of photos. 

Will you be photographing siblings?
Yes! I will photgraph siblings when I return for re-takes on Thursday, October 30th. Sign up for sibling photos here.
