Ancona Class of 2026

Graduation Portraits: Wednesday, May 6

Hello Ancona parents!
I’m sooooo excited to take photographs of your graduates. I have been photographing some of them since 1st grade, and it will be so special to do one last round. (I will try not to cry…)
We’ll be doing the shoots OUTDOORS on the steps of the Field Museum, which is a FANTASTIC place for portraits. Beautiful lighting, lovely colors, and lots of space to play and have fun with photos.

We’ll be doing a few fun group photos of the entire class, and then individual portraits.
Can’t wait!
-Erielle

FAQ’s:

Where and when will the photos be taken?
Photos will be taken outdoors on Wednesday, May 6th at the Field Museum.
BACK-UP DATE: Wednesday, May 13th
A bus will transport us to the museum first thing after drop-off. Please make sure you arrive to school on time, so we can stay on schedule.

How long are the sessions?
Short and sweet. About 5 minutes per student.
This gives us enough time to do some traditional head shots, and then also have some fun with different poses and expressions.

What are the prices?
Photo packages of digital downloads and prints range from $50 - $109.

How do I view and order photos?
Same as the fall photos - about a week after Photo Day, you will receive a link to your proofs, where you can choose the images you want to order.

What if my student is absent?
I will not be returning for re-takes or photos of absent students. If you are absent on Photo Day, you may arrange for an individual portrait session with Erielle. (Please note higher rates for individual make-up sessions)
If your student is absent, they will miss the group photo as well.

What to Wear

As you can see from previous years’ photos, students have used these photos as a chance to dress up and be classy!
We will be doing both full body shots and head shots, so make sure you like your shoes. Your shoes will be in the photos. I repeat, your shoes will be in the photos. :)

Graduation Caps-
The school will be purchasing and providing caps. We will do some photos with the caps and some without (most without).
Tip: Practice wearing your cap at home. Sometimes it can be really tricky to make them look good.

Things to avoid:
Logos, neon colors, text, and graphics (pictures of things). Patterns and stripes are great, but text and pictures clutter up the image and draw the attention away from your face.

If you know what colors flatter your skin tone or compliment your eyes, go with those colors!
The most important thing is to be comfortable and confident.
If you want to do any quick photos at the end, with hats, sunglasses, or props, that is A-OK with me.

Feel free to get in touch with any questions.

Looking forward to it and see you soon!
